The professorship of analyis and monitoring of urban areas contributes to a new course in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences for Health Bochum, the Urban Health digiSpace.
What is the Urban Health digiSpace?
The Urban Health digiSpace is a digital space in which participants can use a variety of learning opportunities on the topic of Urban Health in the Ruhr region as separate offers and free of charge. You can choose as many offers as you would like to join.
The learning opportunities in the Urban Health digiSpace include two components:
1) Publicly accessible information:
A variety of different experts presents their knowledge on the transdiscipli-nary topic of Urban Health freely accessible on the website. The E-learning formats offer open access to information so that all interested parties can expand their knowledge, even if they do not participate directly in the Urban Health digiSpace. Of course, the website will remain online in the future!
2) Practical and goal-oriented formats for learning and generating new joint knowledge:
During the event period from 15th November - 10th December 2021, everyone interested is free to choose which and how many courses they would like to attend. The Urban Health digiSpace not only addresses students and scientists, but all people who are interested in healthier cities. Participation is free of charge.
The events vary in their formats as well as in their scope. Some events are single events (e.g. digital lectures); others are spread over the entire four-week period. A detailed overview of the individual events can be found on our website and on page 6 in this programme booklet.
The Urban Health digiSpace starts with a joint kick-off event on 15th No-vember and ends with a closing event on 10th December, where the results of the individual offers will be presented.
